Edu1st is a global educational organization founded 24 years ago in the United States, dedicated to transforming education through innovation and purpose. We support institutions and educators through the implementation of the VESS Model by offering training, resources,
and ongoing guidance to build a sustainable Culture of Thinking.
We created the VESS Model by integrating globally recognized pedagogical approaches, including:

What does VESS stand for?
VESS stands for “Meaningful life with balance and wisdom” (Vida Equilibrada con Sentido y Sabiduría). It’s a holistic educational model that fosters academic, social, and emotional development, with the goal of cultivating a Culture of Thinking to shape autonomous, critical,
and well-balanced individuals.
How is the VESS Model different from other educational models?
Unlike other approaches, the VESS Model combines the strengths of several proven methodologies and emphasizes real-life relevance, helping students thrive in a complex, ever- changing world. It goes beyond academic achievement by nurturing a deep sense of purpose.
Where is the VESS Model implemented?
The VESS Model is currently implemented in over 7 countries as part of the VESS International Network, with more than 56 active institutions.
