To recognize different characteristics of the current institutional culture, in order to determine strengths and align the resources and work areas.
To identify the conditions that will move the current academic approach towards the VESS Culture of Thinking.
To move from the concept of “Visible Thinking” towards the VESS concept of synergistic integration of multiple strategies and concepts.
To recognize the whole as well as the different parts of the strategies, and the foundations needed to build a VESS Culture of Thinking.
To recognize the elements and processes of thinking that allow the construction of a sustainable Culture of Thinking over time.
To have an initial understanding of how the VESS strategies and processes are integrated in different ways in the curricular and leadership areas, in order to change educational practices in both the classroom and the institution.
